This new construction, 234-room AC Hotel by Marriot will be built at the corner of 6th & K Streets in Northwest Washington, DC. The hotel will feature sophisticated lobby finishes and signature touchpoints for this new dynamic brand. The ground floor’s farm-to-table restaurant will offer craft food and cocktails and open out to the street creating a beautiful sidewalk café. The hotel will have a subterranean lounge and bar with the ambiance of a chic club and a rooftop bar offering patrons and hotel guests fantastic views of the Washington, DC skyline.
The strong geometric design of the building is driven by the concept of simple, austere elegance. The dark iron spot brick will reflect light and enliven the façade during the day and at night. Industrial sash windows add character to the fenestration, giving the building a sense of authenticity.
