D2 performed the complete sitework and demolition package for the Garfield Elementary School modernization project under MCN Build and the DC Department of General Services.
Our responsibilities included furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to execute the earthwork, site preparation, selective demolition, and related exterior improvements in accordance with the project’s contract documents.
D2 supported the school’s redevelopment through excavation, grading, trenching, removal of existing pavements and structures, and preparation of subgrades for new utilities and building elements.
Working within an active urban environment, D2 coordinated closely with MCN Build, adhered to all safety, environmental, and schedule requirements, and delivered the sitework scope needed to advance the modernization of Garfield Elementary School.
