D2 Site Work Projects - F 16 Flight Simulator Facility at Joint Base Andrews, MD

D2 performed the complete earthwork and site demolition package for the F 16 Flight Simulator Facility at Joint Base Andrews.

Our responsibilities included excavation, fill, grading, trenching, selective demolition, clearing and grubbing, storm drainage support, erosion and sediment control, and preparation of all subgrades within the project’s limits of disturbance.

Working under a federal AIA based subcontract and in coordination with Tuckman Barbee, Corenic Construction Group, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, D2 executed pre existing condition surveys, protected critical utilities and adjacent operations, and maintained strict compliance with federal safety, security, and environmental requirements.

D2 supported the project’s phased construction plan through precise layout, coordination with multiple trades, and adherence to the project’s CPM schedule, delivering all earthwork and demolition activities required for the successful construction of the new simulator facility.
