D2 performed the complete earthwork and sitework package for the North BWI Fuel Farm Additional Fuel Storage Tanks project under W.M. Schlosser Company.
Our responsibilities included excavation, grading, contaminated soil handling, site clearing, demolition, erosion and sediment control, dewatering, stabilized construction entrances, and preparation of all subgrades for tank foundations, containment walls, pump pads, electrical equipment pads, and engineered sand cushions.
Working within an active airport environment, D2 coordinated closely with Schlosser and MAA, executed multiple mobilizations per the project’s phasing plan, adhered to strict security, badging, and environmental requirements, and maintained continuous compliance with Maryland prevailing wage and MAA technical provisions.
D2 delivered all earthwork and site preparation necessary to support the installation of new fuel storage tanks and associated infrastructure at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport.
