Construction began on the Naval Health Clinic in April 2014. The 101,000 square foot building will replace the current care center located on “Hospital Point” on the grounds of the Naval Academy. The new facility will be “green’ and meet the LEED Silver Certification requirements set by the energy conservations guidelines stated in the Energy Policy Act of 2005. D2 provided earthwork and site demolition, clearing and grubbing, excavation and fill, cast in place concrete, soil treatments and densified aggregate piers.
